TSYS CCAT & Personality Test

Immediately after completing your application, you will be sent a link to the TSYS aptitude tests. There are two tests you will need to complete, one is a test of your cognitive abilities, the other is a personality test. This combination of tests is used to narrow the field of applicants to those who show the most potential within the company.

CCAT

The Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test helps evaluate your problem-solving and critical thinking skills. There are three different areas that are indicators of job success that you will be tested on. These areas include:

• Verbal Reasoing – Your ability to communicate with teammates and customers will be measured by the CCAT. The questions will focus on vocabulary, word usage, and your ability to use correct sentence structure.
• Math and Logic– The math questions will test your critical thinking and problem-solving skills. You will need to solve word problems, algebra, and solve problems using proportions.
• Spatial Reasoning– The spatial reasoning questions include identifying patterns and finding the missing piece, determining which part of a sequence does not belong, and manipulating shapes to solve a problem.

The test is made up of 50 questions, and you will be given 15 minutes to finish. This time limit is used to indicate how well you are able to work under pressure.

Personality Test

The personality assessment is used to see how well your personality will match the expectations TSYS has of its employees. It will measure your team working skills, your responses to difficult situations, and your motivators. The test is formatted as a ranking system, with a scale of 1-5.

Interviews

There are several steps in the TSYS interview stage. Your first interview will be a basic telephone screening. This call will be used to go over your resume and gives you an opportunity to ask any questions you might have about the job.
