If you upload your resume, many of the fields on the application form will be filled out automatically. Nike’s Assessment Tests

Job-seekers for some positions may have to take a few online assessment tests prior to being invited to an interview. The assessments will vary based on the position and location of the job you have applied for. Some positions may not require any tests. If a test is required, the test may be one of these:

  • Retail Test – For candidates applying for positions in-store, you may be asked to take a retail test. This is a multiple-choice psychometric test that will measure necessary retail skills like basic addition and subtraction, customer service abilities, ethics, and attention detail. The test will consist of 70 questions and you will have 20 minutes to complete it.
  • Situational Judgment Test (SJT) Situational judgment tests are a common pre-employment assessment. These are used to help determine if a candidate’s response to situations that arise on the job is compatible with Nike’s core values and mission statement. You will need to determine which of the given responses on the test is the closest to the way you would respond in the situation described. Some positions have a more specific SJT test such as management, supervisory and sales.
  • Personality Assessment you may be required to take a personality test that will revile Nike more about your traits.

 

Nike’s Interviews

The interview process differs slightly from job to job. Applicants for lower-level positions may initially face a group interview to narrow the field. More senior positions may require an initial phone interview. Shortlisted candidates will be invited back for a face to face interview. During the face to face interview, you will be asked questions about your background, your interest in athletics, and any relevant skills. It may seem difficult to prepare yourself for SJT and personality tests. However, there are things you can do to make the testing process a little easier.
