What JLL’s Is Recruitment Process?

JLL’s hiring process will include the following steps:

On the online application, you will be asked to fill out basic details about yourself and your educational and professional experiences. After submitting this information, you will be sent assessment test links.


Jones Lang Lasalle Online Exams

Based on the position you are applying for, you may be asked to take a few psychometric tests:

  • Situational Judgement Test
  • JLL TECH Test
  • JLL Ramsay Mechanical Comprehension Test
  • JLL Wiesen’s Test of Mechanical Aptitude

You will only have to take the tests that apply to the job you are applying for. You will get more information on this after you submit your application.

  • Situational Judgment Test
    The situational judgment test will give you various example situations that will ask you to make judgements. This test shows employers how you will react to workplace scenarios. This timed test will give you twelve or more scenarios. You will rank the responses from most to least effective. This test does not require outside knowledge, but it is still helpful to practice.
  • JLL TECH Test
    The tech test has four sections that examine if candidates have the skills needed for a technical job.
  • JLL Ramsay Mechanical Comprehension Test
    This test takes twenty minutes to finish, and it has about thirty-six questions. It will ask questions from the following categories:

    • Household objects
    • Hand and power tools
    • Work (production and maintenance)
    • School (science)
  • JLL Wiesen’s Test of Mechanical Aptitude
    This thirty-minute test will ask you to answer sixty multiple-choice questions about mechanical ideas. This test asks about basic mechanical concepts and physics principles.


Interview & Assessment Center

JLL may ask you to complete a series of interviews. You probably will start with an initial phone interview, which asks about your background and previous experiences. Some candidates have had to complete second phone interviews as well. Eventually, you may be asked for an in-person interview. In-person interviews may include a mix of personality questions, situational questions, and motivational questions. You may have several interviews of this nature, and these interviews are often in front of a panel of management-level employees, who take turns asking the candidates questions.

On the same day as your final interview, you may be asked to go to a JLL location for an assessment day, at which point you will complete written exercises, a group exercise, an in-person interview. You will also earn about the work environment you will potentially be working in. The assessment center will last for four to eight hours.
