In some cases, candidates must complete a telephone interview. This interview is to get a broad idea of whether or not the candidate is suitable for the role.
This is a face-to-face interview which is approximately an hour to an hour and a half long. The meeting is usually conducted by two employees, which generally includes a manager from the respective area to which the candidate has applied. The interview is competency based and is designed to test the candidate’s knowledge in certain key areas which are relevant to the job.
Providing candidates are successful with the telephone interview, they may be invited to attend an assessment day at the BP office. The assessment day consists of a number of activities, which include:
